unexpected smile
and i was positively surprised today when i reached office. I knew they would have remembered my birthday but never did i imagine that they would bring on the party since morning instead of traditional evening cake cutting ceremony. so i reached my room to find baloons tied up to my chair , a number of presents and confetti , as i stepped in i was showered with it as well.
and then everyone was given a party hat and told to wear them, and i was handed a card from my team, a very interesting message in it

im blessed to have such a great team, they are right, they have been through hell in trying to meet the deadlines and none has come to me complaining once
so there is a cake cutting to be done soon , and then im being asked for a treat,
so im sitting hunched a bit on my chair as the balloons are hitting my head , and so far i have not yet opened my inbox to start working , dont feel like it
so the cake was here,
the blue is food color which has made the inside of the mouth blue of everyone here, and then the ordered pizza came which was my treat. unexpectedly there were more than 30 ppl in office at that time, so even 6 large pizza vanished in like a split second

the gifts are really amazing, few ties n a shirt from next and a suit cloth plus button clips, like sorta cuff links type thingies that attach to buttons,
and i havent yet started working , have a meeting at 3 with customer

ok ppl - dint anyone bother to count the baloons? i did! :P and i know exactly they represent his age lol! since the candles were conveniently spared - i used my elbows and assumed the number of baloons will represent his golden age! errr...am i right SAG? ... and btw....u dint blank out ur name from the card properly :P
about the card......wow......for someone who tortures his team - and still get such goodies.....man! some sucking up and maska polish goes on in ur office! :)
errr..the cake doesnt look too appetizing - at least from the outside...kahan se? and so huge - and u dint even send a slice over! so that means it wasnt as bad as it looked huh!
i second falsa..everyone shud be (pleasantly)surprised on their bdays.....i wonder what surprise i'll be getting on my turn...nothing from my minions i know for sure :S ... but then again, who;s celebrating this year??? sighhh

btw even i knew not that ballons were how many, plus a golden age is that which is equal to the date of your birth, thus when iwas 20 years old that was when i had my golden age
